On Sunday 21st May, the largest emerging neighbourhood will play host to the alternative, contemporary summer fete to celebrate the best in design, music, art and modern craftsmanship. Curated by HemingwayDesign, Urban Village Fete provides an alternative twist on the traditional summer fete for the Peninsula's pioneering residents and all Londoners.
Building upon the established success of previous years, the third annual celebration will see the likes of iconic British DJ, Gilles Peterson, alongside walkabout entertainment and a line-up of interactive workshops for all ages. The free day out will feature a range of curated designer marketplaces, street food vendors, art & design workshops, unique pop-ups and a series of talks hosted by BBC Radio London's Robert Elms. Having attracted more than 25,000 visitors in the past two years, 2017 looks to be bigger and bolder.
